The elegant evergreen leaves, beautifully silvery when young then turning lustrous green but remains silvery grey beneath, offer a delightful screen for year-round cover. Small, cream-coloured flowers appear in late autumn. Trim twice a year to maintain a crisp, dense shape. Synonym: E. x submacrophylla. H5, but may drops its leaves in severe winters.
