Native to North America, this attractive hawthorn bears clusters of gorgeous white flowers in May followed by round fruits that ripen to scarlet in September-October. These often persist to early winter and are enjoyed by birds. Ovate, dark-green leaves which turn orange to purple in autumn. Grow in any well-drained soil. Pollution tolerant. Hardy.
