Being a snake-bark maple it has attractive, green and white striated bark. Small greenish yellow flowers appear in drooping clusters in spring. The shining, dark green, ovate leaves colour richly in autumn. Green, suffused red, fruits in autumn. Slow to moderate growth rate. Hardy.
