Small evergreen to semi-evergreen tree with glossy, ovate leaves mottled with light green and edged with creamy-yellow. Flowers with cream coloured panicles in late summer followed by black fruits in autumn. Severe stomach upset if ingested. Grows well in semi-shade or full sun. Hardy,and usually evergreen, however leaves may drop below -10°C.
