An elegant cultivar, developing tiers of spreading branches. In spring, each tier is smothered in corymbs of showy white sterile flowers surrounding the smaller fertile ones. In autumn, the dark-green, conspiculously ridged leaves transform into blazing scarlet before falling. Ample room widthwise will allow its full architecture to develop. H5
