Following the Prime Minister’s statement on 23rd March, the nursery is closed to the public as required under this National Emergency. We apologise that there are no longer any sales or office staff available. All booked deliveries, planting jobs, nursery collections and site visits should be considered postponed until further notice.
We are, however, attempting to deliver some trees, on a day by day basis, to low-risk sites where safe distances can be maintained, mindful that this may have to be halted at any moment as the situation changes. These sites are primarily in-process trade landscape projects which require delivery of the trees in order to complete works. If you feel that receiving your trees is essential, and that the site is low risk, you can submit a special request to our logistics team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware this team is operating with a skeleton crew and will only be able to reply to those requests they may able to fulfill.
We must, however, reiterate that by-and-large we are no longer able to ship trees. Your health and that of our team are of utmost importance, and we are unable to maintain a safe 2-metre distance for the vast majority of delivery and planting jobs. Once the situation changes, we will return to work and our first priority will be to contact you to reschedule your delivery or planting date. Rest assured, our experienced team of growers will be working on a rota to take care of your trees, to ensure that they will be well cared for in preparation for when we can ship them, and no holding fees will be charged. All trees held on reserve will continue to be held throughout this period.
All AfterCare visits are unfortunately also suspended, though our aftercare specialist will contact those with booked appointments to give advice and answer any questions.
In the days ahead, why not spend the time planning your dream garden? Our fabulous new website will fill you with inspiration, and, by all means, email us photographs of your garden, access routes and requests for recommendations. We cannot say when we will be able to reply, but we will certainly be delighted to have your enquiries to come back to once the situation improves.
We look forward to seeing you when things get back to normal.
