A most unusual field maple with intriguing green and white variegated leaves. New foliage emerges crimson, contrasting beautifully against the more mature leaves. The winged fruits (samaras) take on the same vibrant red colour later in summer. Attractive orange autumn display. Does well in most conditions, but best in acidic soil and partial shade. H7
