Acer x freemanii is a hybrid between Acer rubrum and Acer saccharinum named after the creator Oliver Freeman. The cultivar, 'Celebration' (synonym 'Celzam') is an upright tree with with columnar branches and leathery red leaves that turn gold to red in autumn. Does well on UK soils and is draught tolerant.
