A unique Japanese maple with an upright habit and slender outline. The dainty leaves are deeply lobed and palmate, lime-green in spring, maturing to a slightly darker bright green in summer and turning a vivid, fiery red in autumn. Can reach 6m in height. Requires acid to neutral, well-drained soil away from drying winds. H5
