Deciduous. A distinct, small, slow-to-moderate growing tree. The young leaves are glorious coral pink, changing to pale yellow-green and finally green. Tolerates a wide range of soils but best in a sheltered position to protect delicate spring growth. Roots are generally deep and unproblematic. H7
