'Red Sunset' is an oustanding maple with an upright habit and rounded to oval crown. Emerging new leaves, leafstalks, twigs, flowers, fruit and fall colour are fire-cracking red or tinged with red making this cultivar one of the best maples when looking for colour effect. Best in acidic, moist, well-drained soils in full to partial shade. H5
