A vigourous, large shrub or very small tree producing a profuse display of white flowers in spring, set amongst a bronzy foliage. Foliage fades to green in summer, then to a rich red and purple in autumn. Small sweet fruits produced in late summer, enjoyed by birds. An ideal choice for a very small garden. An acid to neutral soil is ideal but fairly adaptable. A shallow rooting habit. H7
