An intreguing evergreen with rich green leaves that are curiously spotted and blotched with gold. This particular cultivar is female and produces inconspicuous flowers in Aprilf followed by handsome red berries in autumn. Loves shade and does well in almost any soil. May drop its leaves during extreme cold weather. RHS hardiness rating: H5
