A magnificent tree with a broad, wide spreading crown and soft, greenish-gold leaves. In early summer the thin leaves filter the sunlight bathing everything below in golden light. Come mid-summer the crown is covered by panicles of white flowers followed by pendulous, green bean pods. Tolerates polution, prefers moist fertile loams. H6
