This hybrid has young leaves and shoots that are dark purple, almost black, gradually becoming a luxurious jade green with purple blush in summer. Produces impressive upright 'candles' of white flowers with hints of orange and purple in summer. Requires a a spacious (grows to 8m wide) and sheltered position in full sun. Avoid heavy soils. H6
