The wintersweet is a true winter show-stopper. From December to January, clusters of highly scented pale yellow flowers with dark-red centres emerge on bare branches, creating a stunning display. Shiny, dark-green summer foliage turns yellow in autumn accompanied by intresting, ovoid green fruit. Grows up to 2.5m. Does well on all well-drained soils. Requires full sun and shelter. H5
