Developed in the 1950s, this hybrid (C. florida x C. nuttallii) is more narrow than its parents, displaying a tiered, pyramidal habit. In spring, the branches are smothered in white flowers with exceptionally large bracts (10cm across). These are followed by decorative, orange to red-coloured fruits accompanied by beautiful red autumn leaves. Best in full sun. H5
