A rare but natural hybrid between common hazel and Turkish hazel developing an upright tree or multi-stem structure. Pendulous spring catkins are followed by highly decorative nuts which are larger than those of Turkish hazel and of excellent quality. Performs on all well-drained soils and exposed sites (bar coastal). Also less prone to suckering. H6
