Quince is a fruit tree which has been cultivated since ancient times. Its fragrant, white to pink flowers open in April to May and are followed by sweetly scented, greenish-yellow fruits in October. Leaves are ovate to obovate and mid-green turning yellow in Autumn. Extremely frost resistant. Grows well in any well-drained soil in partial shade. Hardy.
