An ancient fruit tree from western Asia with a long history of cultivation. This highly productive cultivar from Serbia bears large, pale-green, felted foliage and masses of very fragrant pale-pink blossom in spring, followed by large pear-shaped, yellow quinces. Leaves remain on the tree until early winter before turning yellow and falling. Self fertile. Hardy.
