As the name suggests, this is a compact version of the popular hybrid. The elegant evergreen leaves, silvery when young then turning lustrous green but remains silvery grey beneath, offer great year-round cover. Small, cream-coloured flowers appear in late autumn. Trim twice a year to maintain. May drops its leaves in severe winters. RHS hardiness rating: H5
