Named after the German town where it was first introduced, 'Westerstede' is noted for its yellow, ribbon-like flowers which are straight rather than the more common crinkly appearance. Appearing on bare branches in late winter to early spring the scent is sweet but not overpowering. Broad-oval, green leaves turn bright yellow in autumn. H6
