Splendid silver-margined holly with dark green leaves, purplish-pink when young. Small white flowers in Spring followed by (if male plant nearby) red berries. Particularly suitable for urban or coastal sites since it copes well with pollution and salt-laden air. Berries may cause mild stomach upset. Plant in full sun for best colour. RHS hardiness rating: H6
