A handsome, fast-growing privet developing a dense, broadly-round habit with arching branches. The smooth, oval leaves are glossy, dark-green often aquiring an attractive purple hue in autumn. Small white flowers in nodding panicles in July followed by blue-black berries. Loved by wildlife. Great on all well-drained soils. H7
