A small, usually mulit-stem tree with spreading branches valued for its large, floppy gardenia-type flowers, which have crimson and yellow centres. The flowers are fragrant and produced intermittently from May to August, making this a delightful tree for summer interest. Could potentially attain a height and spread of 8m x 12m after many years. Will tolerate moist, alkaline soil.
