This vigorous, heavy cropping dessert apple was raised at Jork Fruit Research Station near Hamburg, Germany 1951. The fruit is most attractive, dark red flushed. Sweet, some balancing acidity, good flavour, crisp flesh. Prone to developing a mouldy core if stored. Flowering group D, partially self-fertile. Rootstock: Bittenfelder Seedling and Malus type 4.
