An Autralian dessert apple, but more often used in cooking when grown in the UK garden, as this variety needs a long hot summer to produce quality dessert fruit. Colour bright green, turning greenish yellow, slight brownish flush. The greenish white flesh is crisp and refreshing. Self-fertile in flowering group 3, improved by group 2, 3 and 4.
