A dessert and cooking apple with firm, juicy sharp flesh, which mellows to resemble Reinette du Canada. A mutant derived from Belle de Boskoop. Red flush, some red stripes over gold, much russeting. High ornamental value with its beautiful large, spreading crown. Flowering group 3, pollinated by 2, 3 or 4. Triploid, needs two pollinating partners.
