An old French variety bearing medium to large green apples, maturing to yellow with grey spots. Flesh is white, firm and juicy, becoming softer as they ripen. Excellent sweet flavour with a little acidity and delicate notes of vanilla. Ready to eat off the tree in October; also great in cooking and baking. Stores well. Triploid, flowering group E. H6
