A late, dessert/fresh eating apple originally developed in North America in 1870 under the name 'Delicious'. Several sports have arisen including 'Starking'. Here trained into a pleach shape. Red flush, short red stripes over green/yellow background. Densely sweet, not sickly, lightly aromatic, glistening cream flesh. Flowering group 4, pollinated by 3, 4 and 5.
