This lovely native can be found growing all across Europe, from Scandinavia to Spain, Greece and south west Asia. In May the crown errupts in a cloud of white followed by 2-4cm, white, red-blushed apples. The fruits can be used for preserves, jellies and juices. Does well on all types of soils but prefers moist soil. Attracts wildlife. H7
