A comparatively rare, erect-branched tree, to about 13m, so distinct that it is sometimes listed in a separate genus.The threelobed, maple-like leaves are deep green in summer and attractively tinted red in autumn. The large white flowers emerge in spring, follwed by green fruit. Ideal for confined spaces. H6
