An elegant, fast-growing specimen tree from Chile, often shrubby with low and twisted branches. Small leaves with wavy edges, glossy and dark green in spring and summer, turning a very attractive golden yellow in autumn. The chocolate brown bark is covered in silvery-white lenticels making it shimmer in the winter sun. Not for shallow, chalky soils. Deep rooting. H6
