An attractive, slow-growing holly-like species that does well in almost all soils. Leaves are lustrous, leathery and dark-green, spiny when young gaining a smooth edge as they mature. Flowers, appearing in autumn, are small, white and very fragrant. Prune twice a year to maintain clouds. Prefers a potion with dappled sunlight. Hardiness rating H5.
