A compact and upright selection with spectacular foliage reaching 4m in height and 1m wide. The leaves emerge glossy deep-purple, maturing to dark green but retaining the purple edge in summer. The season is concluded with a fiery display of yellow, orange and red. Does well on all well-drained soil, but prefers acidic locations. Full sun. H6
