One of our classic Christmas tree species, the Norway spruce is a large, fast-growing evergreen coniferous tree growing to 35-55m. As such, it is best placed in an open space where its stature can be admired - and adorned with Christmas lights in season! Further delights by producing cones, which are large (9-17cm long), pendulous, green or reddish maturing to brown. Tolerates acidic soils well. H7
