Broadly conical shape when young becoming more rounded as it matures, reaching apx 70ft high, 40ft spread. Good specimen for a large garden, but plant at least 130m away from buildings. Yellow/green catkins appear mid spring. Not too choosy about soil but thrives in deep, fertile, moist soil in full sun.
