Deciduous. Our native wild cherry. Picturesque bowl-shaped white blossoms in mid-spring, followed by red fruit from May and giving good autumn colour. A rounded to conical broad-headed tree increasingly spreading with age. Good on chalk. Hardy and easy to grow. Flat far-reaching roots.
