Cherry laurels are a decorative option for evergreen hedging and screening. The cultivar 'Caucasica' is larger and more vigorous than the species. White, scented, flowers in April followed by black fruit in autumn. Leaves are dark green and glossy. Equally effective clipped formally or left to form a naturalistic screen, and immensely suitable for shady areas. NOTE: Entire plant is poisonous. Hardy.
