'Novita' is a fairly new cherry laurel cultivar. It is similar in habit to the species but has been found to be far more resilient in cold weather. The evergreen leaves provide excellent screening and year-round texture. The flowers are fragrant, appearing in April then followed by black, glossy fruit. Tolerates shade well. NOTE: Entire plant is poisonous. H5
