An interesting, rare oak named after a former US soldier who founded the Chollipo Arboretum in Korea. It's upright habit is very handsome but it's its large, leathery leaves which make this tree truly unique. Pleantly glossy green in summer, the foliage turns a mix of red, orange and yellow in autumn, often remaining on the tree through winter. H6
