Traditionally used for basking making and weaving, the osier willow now has many uses including a popular choice for waterside planting, living sculptures, bio-fuel and 'cleaning up' contaminated waste ground. Young stems attractive yellow in spring. Leaves up to 20cm long, silvery-hairy beneath. Early nectar and pollen source for wildlife. H7
