This is one of the most important trees for decorative and shelter planting in the far north of Europe. It tolerates servere climatic conditions and polution. Dense head of ascending branches, creating an oval crown. Dark green coarsely toothed leaves. Scented flowers in late spring followed by orange-red fruits in bunches. Very hardy.
