Very similar to 'Mme Lemoine' but more vigorous and with slightly less double flowers. Blooms profusely with dense panicles of beautifully scented, brilliant white flowers opening from greenish-yellow buds in May. Green, heart-shaped leaves accent the flowers. If needed, prune out any excessive branches after flowering. Tolerates renovation pruning. H6
