A British native growing rapidly into an impressive broadly-oval crown often reaching up to 30m in height. Dark green, heart-shaped leaves turn bright yellow in autumn. Fragrant, creamy-yellow drooping clusters appear in June and July and are exceptionally rich in nectar for bees. Good on all neutral to alkaline, moist but well-drained soil. H6
