A vigorous cultivar with an upright habit, eventually becoming pyramidal with age. The foliage is characteristic of the species - large, mid-green and conspicuously serrated. Cream-coloured, fragrant flowers provide a good source of nectar in early summer. Golden autumn colours. The red young shoots very attractive throughout winter. H7
