A weeping selection of the Siberian elm, characterised by dark-green, narrow elliptic-lanceolate leaves, lustrous above and hairy beneath. Green, inconspicuous flowers appear on bare brances in spring, followed by rounded, winged fruit. Adaptable to drought, cold and poor, dry soils. Resistant to Dutch elm disease and tolerates polution and salt. H7
