Also known as the cultivar 'Macrobotrys', this wisteria boast with spectacular 1 meter long racemes of fragrant, pea-like, soft lilac flowers with dark purple markings opening in June along with the emerging leaves. Most impressive when trained against a sunny wall or sturdy pergola. Prune twice a year, one in summer then in winter, for best flowering. H6
