A vigorous Japanese wisteria, also known as 'Black Dragon', bearing 50cm long racemes of double, sweetly scented, purple flowers with white and yellow markings in late May to early June. Perfect for a sunny wall but can also be trained onto any sturdy frame. Prune twice a year, once in summer and once in winter, to encourage flowering. H6
