Evergreens

There are evergreens and there are Evergreens.

There are leylandii hedges and there are Christmas trees.

There are jobbing evergreens, that do a cheap and cheerful bullet-proof job at screening, and there are elegant, highly ornamental evergreens that take centre stage through the winter and elicit our deepest appreciation. Here we are going to talk about the latter. Well, ok, we’ll include some of the more ornamental options from the screening evergreen clan too, because, let’s face it, it’s always handy when an evergreen can tick both boxes.
